About Iris Booth
Iris Booth makes self-service headshot booths. Anyone can walk up and get a studio-quality photo whenever they need one.
Nearly 250 campuses use them, and the same booth works in hospitals, office buildings, conferences and corporate offices.
Where things stood
- Sales ran mostly on inbound
- Reps did their own prospecting into new markets
- There was no reliable list for any of those markets
Iris Booth brought us in to build those lists, including details no data vendor sells, and to run outreach so the reps could spend their time selling.
How we planned the campaigns
Every market buys the booth for a different reason, so each one got its own list, its own data and its own email.
- For universities we pulled career fair dates and enrollment
- For hospitals we counted how many doctors in the provider directory had no photo
- For buildings we found the headcount and the nearest headshot studio
Campaigns from the first year of the engagement.
First
We built a list for each market with the details that matter to that buyer.
Then
We ran the education campaigns alongside tests in hospitals, buildings and senior campus leadership.
After
Education produced most of the opportunities, so we put the volume there and changed or paused the tests.
The career services email
Career services teams work on job placement, so the email tied headshots to the school's next career fair and its placement numbers.
On its own, the education campaign held a 3.19% reply rate across 7,000 emails.
Why it worked
- It named the school's own career fair date
- It sized the result to the school's enrollment
- It ended on a question about something they already track
I saw {{collegeName}}'s {{upcomingCareerFairDate}} career fair and was curious -- do students have access to professional headshots at events like this?
At campuses your size ({{studentPopulation}} students), making headshots available during career moments typically brings ~{{estimatedCareerServicesLift}} more students into Career Services each year. Students who engage are 13.6% more likely to land full-time roles, which can translate to ~{{estimatedAdditionalPlacements}} additional placements.
Do you have a strategy in place to increase placement rates around events like this next year?
